This is one of our favorite Somethings to date. In the background, you’ll see a bottle. This is made to hold your favorite beverage. Better yet, do you notice what it’s encased in? It has it’s own carrying case plus a music box. And, the music box is in working condition. You wind the music box up on the underside of the bottle. We have no idea what this is called—-if anyone has any information—please leave a comment!
In the foreground, you’ll see a box. This box was hand carved many years ago. Notice the hand stained wood. This is a unique little box and it says ‘St Maarlen.’ (however, we think it might say St. Maarten since this box likely originated out of the Caribbean.)
Lookie here, folks. This one-of-a-kind box, emblazoned with a salmon, protects the recipient from evil.
Joe Wilson is a native american artist, and this is an authentic Joe Wilson box. The top panel slides on and off revealing a compartment. We stumbled upon this out at an estate sale and we just knew it was destined to become a Something. To accentuate the box, included are some of the best issues of the 2009 New Yorker, high lighters for marking favorite passages and a vintage western enameled bookmark. This particular bookmark is from the ’70s and is pretty heavy. It’s a neat little piece.
This Somethin’ Something features a one-of-a-kind silver piano music box inlaid with red velveteen fabric. It appears to be a very fancy jewelry box from days gone by.
Also included are two tea cups featuring a lovely dot-n-swirls pattern and two servings of Green Walnut Loose Leaf Tea!
This Somethin’ Something included a delightfully crafted owl wall decoration circa 1972, a beautiful 1980s mini-clipboard with a few sheets of 25% cotton paper, a hamburger bowl, a tile artfully detailed with a tiger decal and some high-quality stickers for good measure. Huzzah.
This Somethin’ Something included two pilsner glasses, two wine glasses, two rocks glasses and an ashtray (or candle holder for non-smokers.) Fancy Send Me Something ribbons were included to lend some happy color! This will surely make the season bright.
This SUPER Something included 9 vintage forks (some are silver!), a vintage glass vase, 1 yard of vintage lace, two sunny yellow tea cups and a framed photo of a men-only board room meeting circa the 1970s.
A Little Something No.0002 contained several prescriptions, an unused prescription pad from 1960, 6 previously sent and received postcards and Duck Hunt for Super Nintendo.
