The intended recipient of Order #32 was said to like music, NASCAR, American cliches, coffee/tea, traveling and cars. However, surprisingly, the recipient does not like animals, movies or books.
We were really stumped on this one. Doesn’t like animals? Doesn’t like books? Doesn’t like movies?
So, we scrounged for some items and did our best to put together a super SUPER Something.
Featured above is a hand-made, hand-painted ceramic horse (actually, we think it’s a big chess piece) that can be used as a bookend or decorative item. Talk about one-of-a-kind.
The suggested like of ‘American Cliches’ hit home with us when we pulled out our radish and mushroom wall hangings circa the 1970s. What is more Americana than amazing plastic wall art?
We also lucked in to finding two vintage Maxwell House mugs, primed and ready to go for their new lives with our recipient. Not pictured is some fine tea from the Yunnan province we sent along to accompany the mugs.
In the upper left corner, you’ll see some cards. We found an awesome set of 8 cards from the 1970s. These were really popular because on the inside is another mini card that reveals a hidden message. Each card is different and fits with a different holiday or occasion.
Unfortunately, we were all out of vintage NASCAR items. Sorry, recipient. We hope we didn’t fail you.
